When your siding needs work — whether it's a full replacement, storm damage, or a long-overdue upgrade — our Decatur, TN crews show up prepared, price it fairly, and get it done right. No guesswork, no hidden fees.
Forge Siding has been handling Siding projects across Decatur, TN for over fifteen years. Our lead installers carry manufacturer certifications on every major cladding system we work with — fiber cement, vinyl, engineered wood, steel — and our crews don't sub out the skilled work to whoever's available that day. The same team that estimates your job is the team that executes it.
We work on everything from single-family homes in residential neighborhoods to commercial cladding on multi-family buildings and light industrial structures across TN. If it involves protecting a building's exterior envelope, we have the tools, the certifications, and the track record to handle it properly.
Every Forge Siding project in Decatur, TN comes with a written workmanship warranty. Not a verbal assurance — an actual document with our license number, a defined coverage period, and a clear process for raising any concern after project completion.
Most siding problems start small and quiet — a missed fastener, a failed caulk joint, a crack that looks cosmetic. By the time interior moisture damage appears, the repair scope has usually doubled. Watch for these early signals.
Cracked panels aren't just cosmetic — they're open invitations for moisture infiltration. Any crack that reaches through the panel face needs attention.
Musty smell in exterior-adjacent rooms, soft drywall near windows, or paint bubbling on interior walls all point to moisture infiltration from outside. Don't wait.
Warped vinyl often means panels were installed too tight — no expansion room for thermal movement. Over time, buckling creates gap points where panels separate at the lock, letting wind and water in.
Exterior paint peeling within two to three years of a repaint is almost always a substrate or back-priming issue. We diagnose the cause before recommending a fix.
Fastener issues are quiet until they're catastrophic. A section that blows off in a windstorm — and the water damage that follows — costs far more to fix than a fastener re-drive.
Failing siding, missing housewrap, or compromised flashing at penetrations significantly reduces wall R-value and allows air infiltration. If your heating and cooling costs have climbed without a clear explanation, the building envelope is a legitimate suspect.
Our Decatur, TN team handles the full range of residential and commercial cladding work, from single-panel repairs to complete building envelope re-siding.
Installation quality determines how long your siding actually lasts. The product you choose matters, but the installation practice matters more: correct expansion gaps, back-primed field cuts, properly integrated housewrap, and flashing that doesn't cut corners at rough openings. Our Decatur crews treat those details as non-negotiable, not optional.
For insurance-related repairs, we produce a detailed damage documentation package — panel-level photos, square footage by elevation, material specifications — formatted for adjuster review. We've worked with every major carrier operating in TN and understand what documentation a claim requires.
Each cladding material has its own installation requirements, failure modes, and maintenance profile — and a crew that treats them all identically is a crew that will make material-specific mistakes. Our Decatur, TN specialists understand fiber cement's silica cutting protocols and back-priming requirements, vinyl's thermal expansion characteristics and lock-engagement tolerances, and wood's moisture content sensitivity and end-grain sealing needs. We don't sell you a product and then install it generically.
Property managers and HOA boards working with us get a dedicated project point of contact, building-by-building scheduling, and standardized documentation — including permit records, warranty registrations, and post-project photo files — formatted for HOA board records and reserve fund reporting.
Siding doesn't end at the wall panels. Soffit, fascia, corner posts, J-channel, window and door trim, and all penetration accessories are part of the building envelope — and failing trim is one of the most common moisture entry points we encounter. Our Decatur, TN crews handle the complete trim system as part of every installation, not as an optional add-on. Vinyl soffit and fascia wrap, HardieTrim boards, and aluminum-capped fascia are all in our scope.
Post-storm inspections document hail and wind damage at panel face level — the kind of close-range documentation that insurance adjusters need for a full-scope claim approval. We've helped Decatur, TN homeowners recover adjuster-approved claim settlements that significantly exceeded initial offers, simply by providing specific panel-level evidence instead of general descriptions.
There are plenty of siding contractors in TN. Here's what separates the ones worth hiring from the ones who cost you twice — once for the job and once for fixing what they did wrong.
Our written estimates don't disappear after the handshake. They become the contract, and the final invoice reflects the estimate scope. If something changes, we issue a written change order before doing additional work.
Our TN dispatch operates from locally based crews — not a regional office routing jobs to whoever's available statewide. That means faster arrival windows, familiarity with local permit offices, and crews who understand Decatur, TN building code requirements.
An unlicensed crew on your property creates liability exposure for you, not just for them. Our credentials are public record and we never hesitate to provide documentation.
A warranty that isn't in writing isn't a warranty. Ours is a document you can file, reference, and enforce.
We sweep for fasteners and nails every afternoon before leaving, protect landscaping and driveways with staging tarps, and haul debris off-site rather than leaving a roll-off on your driveway for weeks.
Documentation that exists only in our files doesn't help you. We hand over a complete close-out package at final walkthrough, organized and ready for your records.

Call +1-844-782-0929 to Get StartedThree bids, three different approaches. Forge Siding was the only contractor who showed up with a moisture meter at the estimate visit and flagged elevated readings behind our north-facing panels before we even discussed product. That kind of diagnostic thoroughness sold us immediately.
Emergency call on a Saturday night after wind blew off eight panels on the back wall. Someone actually answered. Crew was on site Sunday morning, boarded up the exposed section, and had permanent panels installed by Tuesday. I'd been skeptical of "24/7" claims from other contractors — this is what it actually looks like.

Vinyl siding on our 1970s ranch — they explained the expansion gap tolerances, why the installation they were replacing had buckled, and what they were doing differently. The finished product has gone through one full summer without a single moving panel.
The daily communication system — a morning text with the day's plan and an afternoon report of what was completed — kept me in the loop without requiring me to check in on them. They finished on schedule and the property was completely clean when they left for the last time.
